WHS WL Year 4 Curriculum Guide

This course is designed for students who have successfully completed Year 3 and teacher recommendation. The two primary goals of the course are language refinement; and an appreciation for the culture of Italian speaking countries.  The course is divided into six thematic units and is guided by essential questions that foster language development in the three modes of communication:  Interpretive, Interpersonal and Presentational. Students will be given the opportunity to review and further develop their language skills.   The course is designed to prepare students for future language study at the high school or college level.   A variety of assessments will be used throughout the year.
