In the April GLEAM (Growing Literacy Equity Across Massachusetts) Newsletter, the following Shout out was given to Anne Curry and our Waltham GLEAM Team for their hard work.
“Shoutout to Waltham's GLEAM Team led by Anne Curry for their outstanding efforts in data sharing with schools and allocating time for school-based teams to analyze their data! Through this collaborative effort, teachers identified a need for additional professional learning on explicit foundational skills instruction. The March district GLEAM Team meeting was dedicated to addressing this need and providing teachers with that learning, leading to noticeable improvements in instruction and student outcomes. It's through collaboration and sharing of best practices that we continue to grow and improve. Congratulations, Waltham Public Schools!”
